Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
I am really impressed with these musharraf lovers still supporting him when he has lost support everywhere, they are far better in their loyalty to musharraf then the likes of Durrani, Wasi zafar and Shujaat (why criticize blind supporters of Bibi, nawaz and Altaf). Even Najam sethi is accusing him of making a huge blunder with serious consequences. Mushy should pick one of them as the new information minister, if he survives long enough
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
you know i feel this so called crisis is a symptom, it's not the disease. many people in pakistan rightly or wrongly feel that mush is no longer the representative of pakistan, and is holding on to power by virtue of his military link or american support. all these people (politicians, journalists, lawyers etc.) are trying to use this judicial issue to rally people against mushy. musharraf may have to face many such 'crises' if he continues to be the President-General.
musharraf, for many people, could be a better leader than the likes of NS and Benazir, but the real issue is not his capability or lack of it to lead the country. unfortunately, it's his legitimacy to lead the country.
my suggestion to Musharraf is what someone already suggested in the other thread. take off the uniform and and try to get yourself elected as the president by the next elected parliament for the next five years if people generally accept such arrangement. military at some point has to go back to doing its real duty and stop meddling in politics. why not do it the honorable way? there is not much honorable about the way Ayyub's or Yehya's or Zia's rule was terminated.
last but not least, people will feel empowered (and hopefully accountable for their actions) with the establishment of a fully functional civilian rule. they can choose whoever they want to choose to represent them.
Without the army behind him, Musharaf loses his trump card... Its like if casesar had given up his army... While the army is there to protect him, without them, he is as good as dead. With as many enemies as Musharaf has, I think it would be best if he just quietly left the country.
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
The question is, what is up the silence from certain bhagoray leaders. :)
it appears that either they dont think this is wrong,
or they are too chicken **** to say anything
or they are making backdoor deals
....right? ;)
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
The protesters at the court included leaders from the Pakistan Peoples Party, of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto; the Pakistan Muslim League, of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif; and an alliance of religious parties.

Only piece of advice for Mushie...
Quit and get a nice retirement package somewhere in New England, before you are hanged, either by the awam, or disgruntled army, or your pay masters in Washington
Or Take yours Service revolver and kill yourself. You have no moral value
Is not that **** enough, you are getting from wash****.You are a piece pof a *t upon pakistani peoples.
You call yourself from a syed family, look at yourself nd see who you are?
GET LOSSED .
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
I believe that either things would calm down or there is another military takeover in the waiting (most likely in May or June). Military takeover, I do not know if that is right phrase to use, because that takeover would be by Musharraf himself.
Are you implying here that Musharraf will topple his own government in a successful coup?
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
Are you implying here that Musharraf is ready to take over his own government?
Yes. That is called, declaring emergency in the country and curfew, dissolving Parliaments in all four provinces and Islamabad, dissolving all ministries (including Prime Minister office), imposing governor rule in all four provinces and then keep it that way for foreseeable future. In effect, declaring martial law in the country, with media control as well as control on all political activities.
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
Keep up the good work!:)

so what did I do,
1) changed yours to your
2) changed value to values
3) left the sentence highlighted in bold because I have no clue what is being attempted there
4) took out 'a' before ***t,
5) fixed pof to of
6) changed the last sentence so it makes sense
7) changed lossed to lost.
okay cool, now that I can read it. it still makes no sense :) but this time its not the composition that is the issue, but the logic, or lack thereof.

wow mushie got no support here.
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
All of Pakistan is against him now. 8 years have shown he is just as power and money hungry as anyone else
The only people left supporting him are his partners in crime
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
^Ya all PML-N,PPP & MMA is against Musharraf now...
Re: SUGGESTIONS TO MUSHARRAF
What a botched situation. Can Musharraf get enough distance away from this? Sacrifice some heads, appoint an independent task force to investigate power abuses and corruption, and don't cover up. A general can survive some hits and led his people but get caught hiding and its over.
And those aligned against Musharraf should be wary who they lock arms with.

And MQM, PML-Q is with Mush....so?
Who cares about them. I'm talking about the opinion of the people of Pakistan
