Re: suggestions required!!!

oh yeah? how is it a fact and how do you know it? You guys just assume that just because Pakistan has tried these cross-border jihad, that India must also be doing it.

India's interest is at maintaining a stable government in Pakistan. If Pakistan becomes unstable the the risk of dirty bomb becomes higher.

It is quite natural that until the fight between the major castes/denominations/divisions within Islam become non-violent and the long running feud between political, religious and military parties become non-violent, that this sort of bombings occur. Plus now you have the provincial / ethnic divisions becoming violent too.

With all these problems to solve, it is tempting to blame an outsider and say India is doing this or helping this etc....but ask yourself honestly. On the one hand you have all these internal fractions that have motive to fight against each other, training and opportunity; and on the other you have India with a motive that requires stability, very little access or opportunity to conduct such operations.

Please don't be angry at me but the first thing, if you want to help your country emerge ok from this mess, is to be honest to yourself and admit where the real problem is. By blaming India if you think you are being clever, all you are accomplishing is to mislead some younger people into anti-India hatred and that as you know only backfires into current mess.

thnx for opening this thread sajidashahid :k:

Re: suggestions required!!!

The root causes are no doubt painful to admit but the alternatives of not admitting internal fractures and conflicts and deflecting the blame to outsiders, will only prolong the misery. Plus it will prepare one more generation of nuts!

Re: suggestions required!!!

^ There are various root causes but to say that India is totally not involved is also denying truth on your part. Look at yourselves anything which happens in India is blamed on Pakistan. Works both ways.

Re: suggestions required!!!

^ I don't know if India is totally uninvolved or not...just like there's no way for anyone saying that RAW is involved! That is why I keep thinking about motives. In case of India it boils down to do we like revenge for the past at the cost of safety in future.

But turning that conjecture to reduce the internal issues to any extent is dangerous.

Re: suggestions required!!!

US will not allow Pakistan to be destabilised and hence I think India at this point of time is not operating any training camps for Islamic militants.

India has been affected by terrorism for many decades. Pakistan can and should learn a lot from India. The reasons for terrorist attacks in India is due to a variety of causes and in Pakistan is due to the only reason that pakistan has turned its back on the taliban. India also has a similar experience when India helped LTTE initially and later turned away from it, we had to pay a heavy price in the form of Rajiv Gandhi. I think India has learnt its lesson and Pakistan is learning it.

Pakistan needs to be pragmatic. To solve a problem it is necessary to accept the existence of the problem.

Involve your people (Press/Political parties /clergy).
Chalk out the direction
If confrontation is the agreed solution, then pakistanis must be ready to pay for their independence and freedom. The terrorist activities now have hit the heart of Pakistan and unless there are sacrifices by the people, they will not be able to bring in democracy.
