but if you look at my first post i saw a housewife as successful if she was happy and confident and felt fulfilled and there are many housewives that are like that but there are also those that might feel like they are in a rut to those a part time job might be more fullfilling or an online business or any activity that enriches them

a job can also be a source of enrichment for a woman just like it is for a man. it’s not about gender equality

And most women will not call her successful. She would not be considered emancipated or liberated because he works at home with the kids.
