Now Nisha before women having jobs what defined a Successful woman? Nothing because the term did not exist. The term started to take root when women joined the work force actively and worked at equal footing as men. That is how the term evolved and all women who have posted so far have taken that definition.

The argument is why can’t they have both? Sure they can. But the only thing that the men are saying is that the definition of a successful career woman is not defined by her job. A housewife can also be a successful woman.

Oh yeah they are also saying we aren’t intimidated by successful women like the women are saying. My sister works, my mom used to work. All my female friends work. I will marry a woman who works but she has to have her priorities straight.

but if you look at my first post i saw a housewife as successful if she was happy and confident and felt fulfilled and there are many housewives that are like that but there are also those that might feel like they are in a rut to those a part time job might be more fullfilling or an online business or any activity that enriches them

a job can also be a source of enrichment for a woman just like it is for a man. it’s not about gender equality
