No , he is saying ‘successful’ does not mean only the ‘success’ in terms of career. Defining successful woman as someone who achieves a lot in terms of career is not a correct assessment.
A woman who invests herself in her family can be equally/more ‘successful’ in her life…in short…career success does not define success in life…
