I dont remember the year exactly but must have been early 90’s and i was a very young and there was an earthquake and i saw how the whole family came out of home and i thought earthquake meant that some strangers have come to occupy our home or to steal from there…lol now that i think of it i feel embarassed

I thought if I drank water while standing, the water will go to my legs and I’d stop growing.
I also thought the moon followed me everywhere and he was really my mamu (chanda mama - hahahha)
I also thought God dropped babies from the sky and my mom had to try really hard to catch one - that’s why she had to go to the hospital to concentrate 
I also thought wrestling was real

indicators- I used to think it was the car us telling us to make left or right as if it knew where we were going
and I didn’t play with my dolls at night because I thought they became alive at night and would kill me (thanks to my grandmother ).

While travelling to GT road, and while watching the "brick furnaces" in the way, I thought it's DOZAKH, where Allah mian throws the bad people right from the skies
I too thought (the same feeling still over-whelms me at times) that there are jins and evils wondering in the night and covering myself from blanket hides me from everyone else.
We had a science teacher that used to beat kids with a duster on their hands, if someone dont remember the test.... and even when I tried hard, she used to hit me with that duster... after the day instead of doing my homework, I used to make myself used to of hitting duster on my own hands.
I used to think that if we go staright on a lng road (no right and left turns) we will go straightly to Karachi. lol. and after that the world ends and we would fall in the sea.
I used to think that in America, Australia (till then I thought only they are the bigger nations) have pepsi in their taps instaed of water.
I used to think if I go to heaven and Allah asked me what you wnat, I would say "give me saaris", then the immediate second thought that hit me was "allah mian then throw me to the heaven for wearing saari in jannat"
I too thought that mama got the baby from the swimming pool in the hospital
I was afraid of the dolls, because I thought if mama wasnt around she (the doll) would kill me.
And... lolzzz... when at eid mama and my maami had mehndi on their feet, (they had it on when we all slept), it was fairies that aplied the mehndi n their feet when we all slept.
When we burry the broken teeth in ground, we could have a gift presented by Allah
Diggging the ground, we can have the magic lamp, which Alla din put deeeeeeeeep under the ground long ago.
Fairies were all real... I remember we were kids, we've been to Naran... at lake Saif-ul-Maluk... the story-teller told us about all that fantasy... and I asked him again and again "will there be fairies at night?"
I longed that the world should stopppppppppp because I dont want to go the school
and when I used to ask mama, which one is the last grade we had to study upto? she said beta studies never stop! The answer turned the world upside down on me.
When our urdu teacher scolded me (when I was in grade 1) because in that "Alama Iqbal" essay, I couldnt remember which comes first FA or BA (If letter "B" comes first then why not BA rather than FA)
I couldnt (and I still) eat salans if they have tomatoes not in grinded form, I used to thought that it's "tambori k parr" floating in the salan

Then after some while i use to think that their was a line of babies in a row in the hospital and my daddy chose me becuz he thort i was the cutest :@:

no matter how "stupid" all that mite luk but once you lose that innocense everything changes. I think being that stupid is way better than how most people end up :(.

i used to think if I could see the flash then I would be in the photo ( and later when I saw photos I used to wonder why I was not there)
i used to wonder who my mom will marry to whenever I attended any marriages - and I could not hold it any longer and one day I asked my mom when will you get married?man o man - she laughed so much that day

I used to think that the sun follows me, i remember runing in the house and telling my phopo that the suns following me and she told me to stay inside then :(

ok this is very stupid, but when i was little and used to look at black an white pictures of the olden days, i actually thought everything was black an white in the olden days...lol u can all laugh at my expense now....:D

I used to think clouds could be put in a jar, all you had to do is put your hand out of the window of the plane and grab the cloud.
Till this day on, I still regret the fact I found out it’s not true.
Ahhhhh thats so CUTE! Especially the baby dropping thing. If that was true, there would be dead babies everywhere! :aq:

Yeah yeah i thought that too.... same for black and white movies! I always wondered why we are in color and they are not! I also thought that people in movies and photos were living on a parallell universe or another planet that we cannot go to, but see.

Yeah yeah! I never thought about the jar thing, but I thought that if i went into a plane, I could touch the clouds.
