My SIL took my hair straightners and it's been 5 minutes, she still hasn't returned them, how should I tell her to give them back to me? And also, how where shall I hide them next time she asks to use them?

OMG why did you let her take them? Tell your husband to tell his mum not to touch his wife's things. Then go make some chai for her so that she can't blame you.
Or buy her some $2 hair straighteners so she can't ask for yours!
