plus, who wants to look back at their teenage years and think of all they things they could/should/would have done, when they had the chance!

Also, developing interests and skills is character building, and great for making friends, as you’ll obviously find people with the same interests as you!

Spot on! I completely agree. Competitiveness is good. But being obsessed with one thing only and leaving other things completely doesn’t make sense.
