Strippers in the west are highly paid and consider themselves 'Artistes'(sp).
They do not offer themselves for sex, even touching them is not allowed. They are just to provide an exotic atmoshphere while people drink & spend money.
Prostitutes, on the other hand provide sex.
Escorts (both male & female) - provide male or female company, they may go out with you & talk with you.

I really don't see much of a difference between what a prostitute does and what a stripper does, i'm sure most strippers even go that extra step if they need the money badly enough
I think they do.. But us poor slobs cant afford them:(
