If you come to generalize then you can understand the general behavior of anyone (as psychologist have done and written hundreds of books about). But we are so much more complex. The same person at the same time would react differently to a situation in a different state of mind. And we can’t even control the state of our mind.

no i was saying I understand my own mind, and I guess others can understand themselves too, not in a general but a quite subtle way and this not in books that we learn it but in introspection
