Im not sure if we should give the same level of love and respect we reserve for the Prophet Sallallah Alaih Wasalam his immediate family and companions, to the syed’s nowadays.

No disrespect to them but the syed’s nowadays, or anyone claiming to be from the Prophet’s Sallallah Alaih Wasalam family are far removed from them, and they are more or less the same as any other muslim nowadays.

So i dunno if i would give them any more respect than i would to other ‘non syed’ muslims.

I agree, exacept for not giving them Sadqah-Zakaat, I’ll treat them like any other Muslim.

The Ismaeli Imam’s family, Jordanian royal family and others are far removed from what Muhammad :saw: taught despite being Sayyeds.
