Thats a sick practice and some ppl call it a great Ibaadah.
Ppl have tried to mess up with events happened in the lives of those greats. Now ppl swearing at some of those ppl and others doing vice versa. All these conspiracy theories in Islam with no basis have caused so much grief to the Ummah in past and present as well.
Learn to respect all. Allah, his Prophet Mohammed :saw:, all of his messangers :as:, the companions 
including family of Prophet :saw:, the scholars who did a great job of compiling hadiths and those who spent their lives for Fiqah, the sufis who wide-spread Islam in exteremly difficult times, the Ulema who revived Islam in last 4 centuries. Let start this with our parents and family and respect them too as it should be.
I hope if one can’t call upon his mother with ‘tu’ he/she will never forget to say :saw: when Prophet Mohammed’s name is on one’s lips.
