I think we should start with the idea of two nation theory, how many supported it and the reasons behind it
It can be either frence history or european history. Word Indian comes for indegenous people, the people who are indegenous to that land, Native Indegenous people became Native Indians in the same way, Ancient history from Vedic civilization to the empire of Maharaja Harshvardhar or Prithviraj chauhan is history of indegenous people:)
