ps. sana, we dont have any control over life or death, but on the things we have control over we try to neglect em. Giving birth to a child is not an achievement, but taking good care of em sure is an achievement.

Sanad....you have presented a very sad story of a gal who uses abortion as a method of birth control. A very wrong practice for sure. But lets consider....vistims of rape. Of incest. Poor women who have three kids already, no access to birth control and no means to feed their growing families. what if you had three young mouths to feed, did not earn enough to feed them and then got pregnant once again because you have no access to birth control? So you have 4 kids now and let them all suffer malnutrition? Or abort so that the others can eat enough. What about when theres something really wrong, like downs syndrome or other serious malady? And no means to care for such a needy child? You cannot judge these situations till you've walked a mile or 2 in the shoes of those who actually experience these things.

the sad thing is, I heard one of my relatives in Pakistan had an abortion because she just had a baby (her first) and she was pregnant again. What's even more sad is that her MIL was the one who suggested that she should have that abortion.
