Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

Any proof???

Even if that is true what you say in red, so what. The discussion is about what happened during robbery. A good gesture.

lol.. Aankhon Main Lagane Wala Surma?

Re: Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

the message seems simple - give the crooks 40 bucks and they'll convert.

Re: Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

Its the humble act of shopkeeper and his effect on the robber, not the 40 bucks or conversion which is the message here.

You are quite cheap.... only 40 bucks?

:konfused: If $ 40 is enough to get a person to convert to Islam, how does that make him cheap ?

Re: Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

I don't know why some people are always so insecure to prove that Islam is fantastic. In the process this kind of silly items pop up.

Instead of just saying the shop keeper was such as good man that he offered money and help to even the robber, adding the bit about the robber wanting to convert (which he obviously did not since he ran away the first chance he got) simply makes the noble act of the shop keeper less noble.

Since when talking about goodness of anything is insecurity?

Pretty lame argument you have there.

Just swallow the information and take an antacid while your are there. :-)

Re: Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

Hmm...what if the storeowner was not a muslim?

Very inspiring story indeed. indians should watch this and embrace Islam.

Re: Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

^^Keep dreaming.. He was caught selling drug related items and when caught says that he did not know.. Was he such an idiot. It is like somebody saying-- "ya i shot him, but I did not know that would kill him"

I haven't seen anything that would indicate that the shopkeeper actively solicited the conversion. I agree, the robber was most likely trying to ingratiate himself to the shopkeeper in an effort to avoid police involvement or whatever, but that hardly changes the noble nature of the shopkeeper's actions.

If you read the actual articles about that, you'll see that most of the "drug paraphernalia" he was caught were actually hookahs, which are generally associated with tobacco, not marijuana (especially in Pakistan and the Middle East). As for the 6 bongs he was selling (yes, that's all they found)...I'd be shocked if my parents, who in all likelihood are far more educated and westernized than Mr. Sohail, knew what a bong is customarily associated with. So while I'm not convinced that he didn't know what he was doing, I don't think its as absurd and implausible as you wish it was.

In case you don't know, there are more Muslims in India than in Pakistan :)

Re: Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

So when a Muslim kills someone, blame Islam and mentions his birthplace, but when a Muslim does something good, don't bring religion into this.

But I understand, anything good from a Pakistani is hard to digest. One word for you haters, BURN. LOL.

Re: Storekeeper changes robber’s religion

So you see my fellow patriotic Pakistanis, how this thread has been messed up and how our time was wasted in dealing with these baseless accusations and insults.

Carry on wasting your time because of such retards who have invaded Gupistan.
