Ok so here goes a situation where you are friends with an opposite sex and you two develop feelings for each other and hang out once in a while. But theres no physical contact only feelings involved and you get to know eachother over the phone and the guy brings up marriage and tells the girl hes interested and works on his career and skool. The girl, put her hopes up as the feelings were there already.

Long story short, the girl leaves for vacation to see her parents and stays in contact with the guy but not on a regular basis, comes back to find the guy totally ignoring her/giving her the cold shoulder and after some facebook investigation finds out the guy has started seeing another girl and he keeps lying about it but admits it after shown the evidence. The girl is heart broken and decides to leave the guy but the guy still wants to stay friends with her and swears he really liked her but cant marry her because his family didn’t agree to it (culture differences but same religion). Also, the guys family adores the girl. The guy has had couple relationships before but girl is inexperienced.

Is it better to stay friends with the guy or not? and is this cheating?

Staying friends in such a situation is tantamount to SUICIDE. You have your self respect, your dignity, dude you have a life, and this pond scum doesnt doesnt doesnt deserve to be your ‘friend.’ Im surprised you can even consider such an option. Do yourself a favour. Give him a piece of your mind and move ON!
