From what I have observed women spend more time "getting information" regard a potential male counter part then men do. To illustrate the point.
A guy finds a girl attractive he will find out from 1 or 2 people what her interests are, a regular place she hangs out. Why? To make the first move. Have a discussion topic, to start the pick up.
Ladies and in this regard specifically desi ladies get a full damn resume on the individual before they even talk to the guy. A guy starts a pick up, the standard response is to blow him off. Then the stalking begins. Talking to girlfriends, facebook, internet searches the works. Okay not that extreme. But there is serious Magnum PI work going on.
Please confirm or deny the above observation.

CM, I've pulled those stunts on every guy i've met.

Google the guy's name. And read everything I can find on him.
Request to add him on facebook. That way I can see what kinds of company he keeps.
Request to meet him and spend a few hours in his company - that alone gives me 90% of the info I need.
Meet his family, if 1-3 all goes well.
I think most girls do this. I don't know if everyone google stalks, but the minute they find out how much info you can get from a simple google search, they go ahead and do it.
In fact, you should all google your names and see what comes up - in the event your name happens to be shared by some porn star. You never know.

Basics regarding women? First and most simple thing. To make a woman happy, everything does not need to be alright. She needs to feel everything will be or is alright. That took years to figure out as a guy. The operative word is feel.
