Thats the reason said mostly and not all Indians in the UK are in jobs that require no formal education i.e. cabdrivers/shopkeepers.
You need a reality check if you think the educational background of Indian immigrants to the UK is even remotely similar to that of ones who come to the US.
So if they all are highly educated the question is why did they come to USA in the first place and secondly why haven't majority of them gone back or are you saying that those Indians who are now living in USA are only cabdrivers/shopkeepers. You are in USA aren't you? maybe we should exchange our cab features sometimes. BTW the number of Indian/Pakistani cab drivers who are mayors member of Parliament, local councillors, house of Lords members and even cabinet ministers far exceeds the number in USA, if they have any. Or maybe the USA Indians are too highly educated for serving in such menial jobs.
