I miss the ZIM team of wc 99. That was a seriuosly talented team.

From where I stand , this tied match augurs well for Pakistan.

I mean you have the two minnows in the group sharing points between each other.

Let us assume that Pak loses to Minnow1 but wins against Minnow2 and West Indies wins all their matches in this group.
Now even in this situation, Pak will have no problems getting into the Super 8.
However if Minnow1 had full points from today's match, then Pak would have had to compete with Minnow1 (on run rate) to get into Super 8.

Is my understanding correct ? Somebody correct me I am off the mark here.

I saw the amazing ending for Ire vs. Zimb, and I didn't know who to cheer for, so first i cheered for Ire, then Zimb, and then back to Ire.

i dont think using run rate is fair
pitch could be different on a given day right, weather conditions etc right?
how can u base it on run rate then?
