In urdu one have liberty....like dimag(brain) is pronounced as Damag....
Mubarak is pronounced as mubarik........

I find it kind of awkward, but that maybe because I don't feel comfortable speaking Urdu.

Indian never switch to any other language, so with them I communicate in English, but Pakistani are generally tend to feel comfortable in Urdu.

Thanks Ninja. Suddenly it makes sense. Always wondered about numerous spelling of same word by the "urduites"! Looks like Urdu is tailor made for typo-phillic Khatti!

Yeah. Lughat is a dictionary. gh pronounced like in baghawat.

Yes Hindi. Cant understand one letter of Urdu. May learn it out of curiosity.
