I don't understand the way the South Adfrican fieldsmen prepare their test wickets. They try and change the wicket from what it normally is and end up with inferior wickets. I have seen it with India as well as Pakistan.
The wickets become foreign even to the South African batsmen and do not enable a good contest between bat and ball. More than half of the tests do not even go the full 5 days.
During this Pakistan 3 game series only 1 century with 3x 90's. During the India 3 game tour, a 121 and 117 with 2x 90's.
The biggest joke is Graeme Smith complaining about the wickets after instructing the fieldsmen to prepare out of the normal wickets. Pathetic.

^ The main thing is that SA wins. They are more capable of handling these kind of pitches than India or Pakistan. Thus, they don't mind these kind of pitches. Smith knew exactly what to expect from this putch thats why he fielded first after winning the toss.
