Good job India. Playing out the 5th day..80+ overs against one of the best bowling on their own home/condition is a rare feat indeed, I watched both the ashes and SA/IND series...and have to admit SA/IND was the best in quality and character!

Congratulations to both South Africa and India on playing a well contested and exciting series. Steyn, Morkel, Tsotsobe, Kallis, Harris, Amla - excellent performance.
A special congrats to Team India for proving all the doubters wrong. Kudos to Tendulkar for hanging in there and doing what it took to steer India to safety. Gambhir - excellent performance. Dravid, VVS good job. Sehwag, not bad ~ 40 balls. Bajji, Sree great jobs with the ball. A good team effort.

Great series over all for sure. It definitely beat the Ashes in terms of cricket quality as it should have. #1 vs #2 afterall. If it wasn't for Kallis' extraordinary heriocs yesterday India would've won this. But Kallis really was fantastic yesterday.
Good show by Steyn, Zak, Sreesanth and Morkel the fast bowlers. Kallis and Sachin showed their class yet again.
Both aggressive openers Smith and Sehwag had a bad series with Zak getting Smith out easily everytime and Steyn getting Sehwag most of the times.

yes no doubt about it. These things come in phases. Every team has ups and downs, the mighty windies, the Pakistani team of the 80's and 90's, the Australians of the last decade, now all three are in decline. What India has to do is to learn from this and try and keep the momentum going. Already you have some of the guys coming to the end of their careers, Dravid, Tendi and Zaheer. Need replacements for them and classy ones at that.
