Looks like enough on this pitch. I think the difference this time around is that laxman is batting with the tailenders and makes sure that runs are scored, not bothered about his personal milestones. That makes a difference.

I agree. Your earlier observation re: Tendulkar (another thread) may have had merit, coming to think of it.
India now has ~ 283 run lead with 3 wickets in hand at lunch. Props to Zaheer Khan, who mysteriously tried to do a Sreesanth early on, but settled down.

So 126 runs have come in this session for the loss of three wickets. And it's been that man VVS Laxman who has again been India's go-to man in the second innings. Pujara and Harbhajan went early, but Dhoni and now Zaheer have stuck around to take the lead almost to 300. Zaheer has had his share of luck, but has also shown a lot of pluck. The pitch has eased out under the sun though, and looks much better to bat on compared to the first two days. Join us in a while for the post-lunch session

Without going in to argument if Indians r #1 test team or not..it is the Indians who have kept the Tests interesting ..look at their series against Australia, NZ and now SA..its not boring! There r always nail baiting! Whats gonna happen next?:D
SA if they lose one more wicket quickly..then they r in trouble...if the this SA partnership gets 100 runs..the match turns into SA favors....if Zahir Khan can "reverse swing" the old bowl (thanks to Wasim Akram :D ) then SA might be in trouble...if Bhajji can get turn...etc..etc...

Regardless of what happens tomorrow, must give credit to India for competing well with SA in Durban (Africa's Perth). SA are still slight favourites IMO. They have time on their side and their batsmen are in no hurry to chase down these runs. India must break the current partnership b/w De Villiers and Kallis (Africa's Dravid) early tomorrow if they are to win
And once again Laxman thrived under pressure while others failed when it really mattered. He deserved a hundred in the second innings

Agree with u 100%.
The SA has psychological edge as well..they have nothing to lose! If they lose this test well, they still will be #2..if India loses this one and the 3rd their rating is in jeopardy..plus not to mention all the taunt they will receive for being "flat pitch bullies"...However i think it is un warranted as if Indians can score on "easy" pitch like flat pitches of the sub-continent, why cant the "expert" of the bouncy pitch?
As far as i am concerned ALL the batsman have problem with the moving ball.look at the Ashes or even Pak vs. Aus in england in seaming condition against Ameer and others!
I think the SA were lucky to have won toss in the both the tests.

It was refreshing to Zak back into groove .... a good test after all the one side Ashes campaign sofar :D
I just Zaheer adds a bit more pace as this would make him more lethal
