[TABLE="class: commsTable"]

Ellis to du Plessis, OUT, wow, absolutely spectacular bit of cricket here, another bouncer from Ellis, a disdainful pull from du Plessis, seemed headed for six, except Guptill was in the way at deep square leg, he was less than a yard in from the rope, took the catch, realised he was going over, so he nonchalantly lobbed the ball up, went over the rope, balanced himself, got back and collected the ball again, du Plessis is gone, I think the highlight of that was how cool Guptill was, no panic whatsoever, and made it look like he was completing a routine bit of fielding

 McKay to Duminy, no run, Duminy's been given out lbw but he's called for a **review**, looked plumb and would have hit middle and leg as he moved across to that delivery angling in, but Hot Spot showed a heat signature as the ball was going past the bat, **he's got an inside edge**, the decision has been overturned

Duminy's been given out lbw but he's called for a review

Nethula to Amla, 1 run, flighted on middle, pushes it down the ground to long-on this time, raises his half-century, as fluent as they come

South Africa require another 59 runs with 7 wickets and 22.4 overs remaining

The end of another masterclass from Amla, he's set up South Africa for a series win here.

31.4

 Nethula to Amla, OUT, Nethula has his man, finally, excellent piece of bowling this time, bowled it much closer to the off stump this time and got the desired amount of turn, a fair amount of rip in that ball, Amla got forward and could not prevent himself from trying to open the face, got a thin edge and McCullum made no mistake, more relief for Nethula

Williamson's the man of the hour for New Zealand, a bright light for them in a series they lost. Well done to van Wyk and Bracewell as well for supporting Williamson, they batted with him for almost 44 overs. New Zealand were reeling at 83 for 5, and South Africa should have won it from there. But dropped catches, a couple off Williamson and another crucial one off Bracewell towards the end of the day, cost them a win. Williamson took advantage of those reprieves and went on to play a mature, determined knock that saved his team from defeat and salvaged a draw. Morne Morkel bagged career-best figures, Philander had to settle for his worst in a phenomenal Test career thus far - not that he bowled badly, however. Steyn attacked and bowled with good pace but the weak link in a good bowling effort was de Lange, who was slightly inconsistent. It's a result New Zealand will settle for after conceding the advantage in the first innings. Time for the presentation.

Morne Morkel is Man of the Match: "A little bit tired, lots of hard work today. We'll enjoy taking this trophy back to South Africa. The ball has been coming out quite nicely, luckily today things worked out for me. I'm happy with the performance today. We're quite happy with this, with the weather here, the wind and rain etc."

Brendon McCullum: "It's been an indifferent summer for us, we've learnt a lot of lessons from this South African team. Hopefully we'll continue to learn. Great performances today from Kane and Kruger and Doug as well. This is one of the most impressive units to come to our shores in a while. Thank you for your time and stiff competition. Thanks to the fans as well."

Graeme Smith: "Baz, thanks for the kind words. Thanks for an awesome summer out here in New Zealand. Well played, Kane, congratulations on your hundred. It's been a terrific summer, we've walked away with three trophies, you can all be proud of your performance. Thanks to our fans back in South Africa, it means a lot to all of us. Thanks to everyone in New Zealand as well."
