Sorry INDIA

i didnt read the whole thing and not going to but agree with ur first sentence…

A team who had the best resources to win this cup is out badlly and most likely will loose from South africa deserve a bit and speciaallly when its india PAKIS will rip a bit

PAK Rulz Though :jhanda:

its just what indian and pak boards are known for make decision to make things easier for them rather then depending on situation.. like as we did malik eventhogh he did pretty goood as captain .. but there was no one to handle blunders .. we decided to change captain ...

Re: Sorry INDIA

An interesting comment in "The Times of India" by a pakistani reader.
**
Pakistan coming into the semis and india out!all the more delightful because now sanjay manjrekar will stop talking about the "problems pakistan is facing back home".**

LOL!!!

I have been reading posts in the forum for the last three years and became member recently. I was so pissed off with some of the pakistan supporters comments. Some were discussing about unrelated stuff in the wrong forums. If you say Indians and Indian team are showing the arrogance, I can mention arrogance displayed the Pkaistan players either in the field or dressing room.

When the Indian players displayed arrogance?. what do you mean by arrogance?.. Is it fault to show some kind of confidence in the field?..They were not sledging the opposite team players. Not even ball tampering…

Regarding anti-pakistan slogans, it was so obvious in the TV that some pakistanis were shoutinng anti-Indian slogans too in India and England match. If not watch the game, TV crew were showing Pakistanis in almost every over.

Pakistanis just won one or two matches recently, I see suddenly fans were out and beating their chest louder. Pakistan would not have won had it faced India in semis or final. Do not forget history. I know you would have like it, but sorry.

I too like bit sarcasm and ragging the opposite teams. But discuuing unrelated stuff like hunger and attitude of entire country people is just disgusting. I think, I do not have to give you an example for that.

Re: Sorry INDIA

^^^u r just angry india lost all three matches :rotfl:

Re: Sorry INDIA

Esix, I made those comments even before India lost three matches. Let me tell you, I am not a big fan of cricket. It does not matter who wins the game b/c it is just a game.

Re: Sorry INDIA

okay :)

That is pure nonsense and sour grapes. The umpires and referee did not find any evidence of ball-tampering. That was just Mr sad Vettori acting like a cry baby. As for india the fans and media were behaving like the cup was theirs for the taking. I could be wrong but that is the impression I got from reading papers/ visiting web etc. They were all talking about the game against SA as if the games against England and Windies did not matter. Too bad they did and put you out of the cup eventually.

The following might open your eyes

Well you have to ask yourself then who started it first…watch India v Windies game

We know our limitations esp. in batting and I am not one to brag but the way we have bowled (and fielded) in the last two games gives us hope. It’s a shame that we don’t always play to our potential. But to be fair to the team they have already exceeded our expectations by reaching the semis

From cricinfo (after Pak v NZ game)

well that is just plain wrong and unfortunate. I do not condone it. We do not allow religious/cultural attacks here on cricketnama

If I say I did not like your post,I am lying. However, what is wrong in dreaming to achieve something? Why to be pessimistic?...If you do not like us just b/c we are Indians, I can not help it.

Yeas, my eyes are wide open now and just realized that Pakistan is innocent in any form of tampering. :)

Well, you agreed, Pakistanis chanted anti-India slogans as well. It does not matter who started it first. May be some jerks could not control their itch.
So, please stop blaming only Indians that have attitude problem.

don’t really know how you could deduce that from my post. Please read again…

I don’t hate indians or anyone. I am not india-centric at all. The only sites that I do browse occ. are timesofindia and hindustantimes. If anything the indian media is extremely Pak-centric and that is my neutral observation. This discussion is for another forum but I have always believed that we should not try and define ourselves by what is happening in India etc.

Timesofindia for instance has clearance of US aid to Pakistan as their front page headline today. Is it really that important? Why does it matter so much to you?

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/

And who is asking you to be pessimistic. Have dreams, just don’t get ahead of yourselves. Show a bit of maturity and humility…and this applies to everyone regardless of who you support. Take each game at a time…

I don’t even remember the great Jahangir Khan who won a world record 10 British Open squash titles in a row ever bragging on the eve of a final. Even in victory he was always very modest and graceful which is what I liked most about him.

Re: Sorry INDIA

Thanks for your concern :)

First, you said Indians were arrogant, then complained about attitude problem. You now are talking about maturity and humility.
I do not understand how are these related one another and my country’s team failure.

Your team is now semi-final, so news papers in your country do not gloat thier team success at all?. I wonder if you say no ..?.. How come I see all the guppies in the forum are discussing their team success in winning title. So, can I say that you guyz are getting ahead of yourselves. Just think about it being in my shoes.

This is offtopic, however, I want to answer it since you reaised the point. My country’s top priority is to keep the country safe and free from cross-border and home terrorism. My country’s western borders were never safe and there were some serious allegations about their govt. involvement in using foriegn aid to promote terrorism (you can check any foriegn media to corroborate that matter). Consequently, that news, of course, is top priority.

You were talking about Jahangir. What about Sachin?..He is an Indian..come on..He nver bragged about himself. Do not complain Indians altogether, we are definitely proud of him.

Finally, we brag or gloat about my country’s success in any field, it is confined to my country people and intention would ultimately be to motivate people in those fields. If it really bothers, please stop reading them. This is just my general comment. I am not applying it specifically to cricket.

Regarding Pakistans’s news papers?..I am leaving it to your judgement if you say they are not India-centric.

And finally, my best wishes to Pakistan cricket team.

You're welcome :)

off topic but I do enjoy watching an indian movie every now and then. It is an indisputable fact that you make better films and songs than us (well most of them any way). Pak films suck big time although our urdu TV dramas are first class. Don't even remember when I last watched an urdu movie, must be 1989 or 90 when I was in secondary school!! Rafi and Kishore are still my favourites and although Lata has sung some great songs I always liked her younger sister Asha Bhonsle more.....her voice is not as shrill as Lata's, just my opinion

Probably some of them do but I only follow the dawn and dailytimes because they have a reputation of not going overboard with the team's successes. I like them because their editorials in general are quite mature and sensible. Even during ICC World Twenty20 they have only reported on the games as such. They are not making any wild predictions or huge noises about the fact that we are in the semis. You can check their latest editions on web yourself.

Re: Sorry INDIA

:smack2:

In all this reading, i totally forgot the timing:crying:
now am going to rush or will miss my bus :(,

be nice people:)..Peace and Harmony

Pls do not miss ur bus.

Re: Sorry INDIA

I didnt....:D

Re: Sorry INDIA

Good :)

Hmm Interesting....Same goes with Indians too. Do not forget our population is over 1000 million. So how come you are so selective in reading hindustantimes and timesofindia. Those are masala news papers. Most of the people in India read them for filmy news. There are better news papers, however, availble online like 'the hindu'.

I really do not know. How the success should be reported?. Do you have any guidelines?...I really do not understand you 'going overboard'.

Some news may not be mature and sensible to you. All humns are not same on the earth. Perception is different from person to person.

Take it easy.....

Re: Sorry INDIA

Do not rate `The Hindu' as a good one. It's one of the crap News Papers I have read.
