my mum has hit me once in my life, i am 21 yrs old and i still remember it.
I would have been about 6-7 years old and we were all at this extremely busy mela and my younger sister who was 2-3 yrs old at the time got lost.
And my older sister was watching us, while my mum was buying us food, and my older sister got distracted and my younger sister wondered off.
My mum was came back and noticed that she wasnt there. my mum paniced and shouted at us and hit my arm. Then she was grabbed hold of my hand and didnt let go.
it was my left arm and any time my arm is sore for wtevr reason i blame my mom!!! lol
My dads never hit any of us, but he came close to hitting me cz i ran across a busy street where a bus was driving so fast bcz my grandad waved at me from the otherside!! ooooo tht was a scary day. my dads voice still freks me out the way he said in such a low voice, "don't ever do that again"
gives me the creeps!!

ps: jst in case any of yous were wondering my sister was found quite quikly she was standing a wee bit away from us watching the stage show!!
