midnight means very very late

there could be 2 possibilities

1. either in olden times midnight meant v.v. late
2. or Isha prayers can be offered v.v. late

The stars form an arc in the sky as the night lives. Look for a star near the horizon and follow it until it rises no more when it begin to go back down again it has just past midnight … similar to high noon for the sun, but in the night instead.

just as 12. noon is mid-day
