i wore my first sari last year and told myself if it looks good this first time thn and only thn i will cont. to wear saris....went to a wedding where i m not joking almost all the girls were wearing sari but still ppl came to me n complimented me .... oh n i m short and chubby...

i think saris are made for ppl that have a waist that cinches in but as long as you have a nice waist and a decent amount of height or high heels it compliments many women and looks so simply elegant.
