Some girls..

That girl was me! :) I looked, but Agha's didn't have any. Just weird toe separators and things. I'll check again next time I go, but will try what you recommended in the meantime. Thank you!

Re: Some girls..

I dont have time to do pedis or other fancy stuff either but i find just putting on lotion at night can do wonders. Thanks for the reminder, Gina!

Re: Some girls..

i seriously need a pedi. thank god for socks and closed toe shoes. lol.

Re: Some girls..

I have clean soft but wide feet, unfortunately they look like men's feet. SO i daren't wear sandles. I look like a janna in drag.

Re: Some girls..

and what is it with hairy toes too? long toenails with hairy stoes. yuck yuck yuck

^ shudders terrible images flashing in my mind!

Grey, if your callous doesn't go away by soaking and moisturizing let me know and I'll send the Dr. Scholl's callous cushions with someone heading to Pakistan soon. Inshallah.

I find that if you keep your moisturizer/foot-cream on your sidetable, chances are that you'll use it! The Body Shop's body butters do a fantastic job of moisturizing very dry soles. Wear cotton socks (loose) or airline socks for a while and take them off right before you sleep.

Re: Some girls..

Sometimes I get these weird scars on my feet. Wut shud I apply to get them off quickly. Most of the time I dont have them but Sometimes I get some sort off insect bite or something and get a black scar

That's so nice! Thank you! I'm trying out the foot cream, will tell you how it goes...

Re: Some girls..

I find that if you regularly, in the shower scrub ur feet with a pumice stone and then on occasion straight after the shower after pumicing, apply heaps of vaseline and wear cotton socks. your feet will be lovely and soft.

^ That's true!

Hi all,

Just from reading this thread, i kinda got motivated… just got my feet done in my lunch break, only took half an hour, but now my feet feel fantastic,

some of you may still think its yuck.. but i love it

If it's dry/rough and hardened skin then soak your feet in warm water and use a good foot scrub.

gina can you suggest a good foot scrub..what should i do for elbow

The Body Shop has a nice peppermint one.. I love it’s pick-me-up smell.. Bath & Body Works have a lovely fig and brown sugar one too.

Yayy people are finally taking care of their feet! :hula:

My doctor recommended me Nizorol some 5-6 years ago. I used it for a month and it vanished all my dandruff completely. Then it went out of market, i searched & searched for it but wasnt available.

My mother saw a bottle of it at a relative's house in UK and again checked in many places in London but couldnt find it. I need it, where in Lahore can i get it?

Have you tried any pharmacy? HKB or Al-Fateh?

thanks gina.. how aboout for elbow ..my arms are really fair but my elbow is too dark

Moisturize with a urea based cream.. it dissolves the hard skin around the elbows and knees. Keep them moisturized all the time..and scrub with a body-glove or loofah when you shower.

Re: Some girls..

i dug this thread again...
just want to know where can i find this prod in uae gina or any1 else ?

Re: Some girls..

i'm really consistent with my regimen of face, feet and body.
cleaning the face of makeup, taking the mascara off before going to sleep, it has to be done or i feel really disgusting and wearing contacts can be a pain if the eyelashes aren't cleaned.

moisturizing the whole body after a shower, if i forget i just feel like my skin is really dry even if it isn't, it's just become such a habit since high school

i wear heels most of the time so taking care of me feet, pedicures and all, has to be done every two weeks if not every weekend

Re: Some girls..

oh darn, just realized this thread’s a year old :hehe:
