He was labelled as an allrounder by Wasim Akram when he was spotted during Wasim's camp a few years ago...since then he's played the odd decent innings but hasnt done anything off note with the bat....to be honest, I dont see him making much of an impact on the national test side with the emergence of Aamir, who seems to be quicker, and better with the bat....but you never know...if he improves his batting, Sohail may be able to take Razzaq's place as an allrounder in the ODI side...
