We used to socialise a lot but it seemed that many** people are quite toxic and didn’t add any richness to our lives and it was a lot of waste of time and money **so I decided to stop socialising. There is a need to connect with people and that is satisfied by hanging at the lake and talking to other parents of athletes. If you have a good relationship with your spouse then you dont need anyone else.

i agree with that i don’t see many benefits of being social a part from the fact that i guess its just nice to know people .
