Social engineering or changing behavior by law....

Re: Social engineering or changing behavior by law....

Then should they not also make such a law on alcohol consumption and cigarettes/tabacco use?

Re: Social engineering or changing behavior by law....

^ So far, cigarettes are banned in alot of places here... af ew years ago, they banned cig smoking in bars and there was alot of controversy over it.

But then you can apply that to everything.. no huge bags of candies/ no large slice of pizza/ no oversized deli sammiches/ whare does one draw the line? Yes I’m all for educating people and keeping junk out of schools, but once you reach adulthood, those choices should be yours.

The Daily Show did a great piece on this the other day. It was awesome :hehe:

Re: Social engineering or changing behavior by law....

I know that it is banned in certain places. But how many cigarettes does a cigarette ki dabbi contain? Should they not then start selling packages with less cigarettes in it?

Have u ever seen… Man vs. Food…

Well, I think everyone can agree–there should be more education geared towards children and in schools. with the way childhood obesity is so much more common now.. it’s pretty obvious that adults dont’ even know what’s healthy!
I remember being the only fat kid in elementary/middle school. by the time I graduated 8th grade there at least half a dozen fat kids in each grade. So this has been going on for at least the last 10-15 years.
