How come i see people crying on television and people in Pakistan saying that they are sick and tired of the high prices..and they stand in que from 7 am and the rangers ill treat them - all those people are lying and faking it up and the news channels are wrong one picture that you have posted is right and one dictator who has gotten so many innocent people is right..what jokes! some people need to get a life and how to accept the truth/and be honest classes.

teelo bro! It is quite possible that some cities or some areas within a city are still seeing aatta shortage. However it is no longer a countrywide crisis. Off course if you have sources to counter this, then please post them here.

People who are hungry, who cannot afford anything as it is have to now first search for the darn aata and then get insulted by the rangers and then pay prices which is out of their reach just to feed themselves and their kids are the real source why dont you go and see it for yourself rather then fight just because you have an article and ridiculous picture which is by the group who probably cannot bother about all the people but bas MQM aur MUshie ki daag dhabbay wali kameez saaf karo :s

You know why It doesnt matter to us and others. Coz It falls hard on the low-middle class to low class of Pakistan by now. Thats why we, the people darn care. When shortage was influencing high class, upper-middle class, middle class, the media had crocodile tears to shed.

There is no denying that flour prices have impacted people. But so have the petrol prices. Unfortunately they have hit hard the poorest of the poor.
Pak government has tried three things to deal with this.

Use paramilitary rangers to monitor flour mills (And Balochi mills refused to collect 39% of their allocated wheat stocks). You figure out why?

They have bought 500,000 tonnes of wheat from European markets.

Starting a ration card system for the poor.

ISLAMABAD: The cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposal to issue ration cards for flour, sugar, pulses and edible oils for the poor and lower middle class so that they might get daily use items at affordable rates from the utility stores.
“Prime Minister Muhammadmian Soomro has directed the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock to formulate a mechanism to issue ration cards for the poor and lower middle class to facilitate them having the daily use items from the utility stores at subsidized rates,” said Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Nisar A Memon while briefing the newsmen here Tuesday regarding the cabinet meeting that was chaired by caretaker Prime Minister Mohammadmian Soomro.

As i said i wont drag this..if you think you have won this by posting more then one link from the same site here then i wont give you a reason to bang your head on the wall just for your information I can post more then 10 links (different sites) and also post what third parties think by posting links of foreign sites such as wt..etc etc and if there is a 50-50 ratio of journalists writing for and against the government then there is more ratio of third party journalists who is against the government…but no matter how many articles and links posted here wouldnt change the truth! it wouldnt feed the hungry! it wouldnt change your mind! i have had hardcore debates where i have put scans from books as well some people just cannot understand so why bother.
