Well she wasn't exactly government property that they could just carry out an autopsy w/o consulting her family, even when this is a high-profile case. There has to be a medical report, which the public will never see.
If there were bullet wounds than you don't need a medical doctor to tell you, any person who saw her maiyyat would have been able to see them, i.e. her family. Something like that cannot be hidden.
