I started reading news about Pakistan only after Kargil broke out.
While surfing the web I came across a bulletin board where both Indians and Pakistanis are posting.
The Indians are calling Pakistan ‘Pukistan’ :smiley:
The Pakistanis are calling India ‘Hindia’ :slight_smile:
However they are calling it ‘Lundia’ :confused:
I couldn’t figure out why, you see I was reading ‘Lundia’ like ‘Lunatic’ and ‘Lunar’
It was quite a while before I noticed the first four letters and read them correctly.
Man, I have been away from home for too long :smiley:
So i started looking at these bulletin boards and decided this is the best forum.
How about you ?

I am confused, so the one that said Lundia, you thought was the best? What was the problem with Pukistan and Hindia, at least it is better than Lundia.....you are a dirty man...che che.;)

How did i find gupshup hmmmm
well I have known azkar for a long time.
Way back we went to teh same school in Saudi although ahahah nither of us remembers each other from then. our paths crossed again in USA when both of us ran the efnet #pakistan, at that time azkar was talking about the pak.org idea. He launched it soon afterwards. I was busy with things and did not become and active part of it until the next year.

So, I was there when the site was just an idea in azkar's mind.

I came to this site in summer 98 how did i find it well seriously i dont remmeber i think through some search. Because i was new to the net and all i would do on the net was to search on the search engines for pakistani sites and about pakistan. ehhaha :)

I just thought that there might be something like www.pakistan.com and tried different combination a while back and then came to this place which was quite young at that time . I have been around for while now and have got my previous nick banned as a token of respect (just joking that was my fault but enough man give back to me now :frowning: ) Any way I love this place a lot more than the admin thinks I do .

And I still remember the first email invitation I got from Azkar to moderate the place.....

at that point i was not a registered member but a "watcher" and did not visit gupshup as much but used pak.org as a launch pad for pakistani sites and links.

I did not register as Fraudz until much later I think it was summer of 98.

How did I find 'gupshup' ? well I was reading this urdu book in grade 2 and I came across the word 'gupshup' ! I asked my teacher what it meant and she told me the meaning later that day :)
hmm .. that was a crappy joke :)
well my friend told me about this site back in 98 .. I joined it & left after a month or two .. then registered again with another nick a year and a half later :)
