I was new in USA , landed in CA , so I was working at a burger joint. In the evening it started to rain while I was at work . It looked so beautiful to me being from Karachi where it rained one or two days a year. So I commented loudly , wow such a nice weather , the whole co workers crowd shouted “are you crazy” .
Turned out that rain and snow are not liked in this part of the world. They do not think that it is romantic. The hero and heroin in Hollywood movies do not run around in the park singing and hugging the trees and each other in the rain.

A big no no. They think we are crazy to like rain. Their romantic weather is when the Sun is out there in the sky without a speck of cloud and the temperature is 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
