Re: skin showing limits
I wear skinny leg jeans, dresses and skirts. I have mini-skirts and dresses but I only wear with them with tights. Sleeveless is a big no-no, even if I only have tiny sleeves it's fine as long as they are there. I don't really see the problem with wearing short skirts or dresses if you wear jeans. It's the same thing I mean everything is COVERED...no skin showing.

Yes X2, that’s exactly what she meant lol
Yes that was a good skirt worn by kareena. I also luv wearing knee length dresses. Girls who wear knee length skirt dresses and skirts, do you also try to wear them with nylon tights i mean skin color tights or just the dark ones.

I wear mid-calf length capri's and capped/short sleeves.
Oh I luv them soooo much gina, those mid calve capris. I normally wear them when I go to beach with friends and walking in sand with water touching the legs it feels soooo good. Have you girls also went to beach with capris also girls which are not allowed to show legs normally but may be at beach.
I don't wear sleeveless but I do wear capped/short sleeves. I mainly wear skinny jeans but if I wear a dress or a 3/4 length skirt I'll wear leggings/tights underneath.
One thing just came to my mind right now and I thought I can put it here. What if you guys go to beach in summer? Are you allowed to bear skin till knees or calves there or its a no as well?
Re: skin showing limits
Yup, I am allowed to do that and usually do^^
even my mom does that during beach visits.
Re: skin showing limits
My Uni looks wonderful during summer :@:
Re: skin showing limits
Although my family wouldnt mind i dont wear anythin above the ankle or sleeveless.. My mum brought me capri trousers from Pak but I didnt feel comfortable wearing them.
akh12 I think you are the first girl I come to know whose mother bought her capri and you didnt wear them. I have to convince my parents to allow me wearing them and it took a long time.
Yes, Shak rolls her eyes I’m sure it does
now concentrate on your studies! lol
I love cap sleeves …don’t know why but I just don’t think sleeveless looks classy !

I think my mum was suprised too lol
Re: skin showing limits
I think If ur gonna wear short pants then u should stick to full arms
or if ur gonna wear short cap sleeves then stick to long pants
otherwise u start looking a bit trashy with both short pants and short sleeves IMP
Re: skin showing limits
family don't have a problem but i don't like to show skin. i don't wear short short sleeves (only 3 quarter, full or half) but i do love knee length skirts and dresses and wear those with leggings. if the dress is sleeveless i wear a cardigan over it.
Do you guys always wear dark colour leggings or tights under a dress or have you also tried skin colour tights.
Re: skin showing limits
i used to wear calf or below the knee lenght skirts with high boots...but havent really done so in a while since i got married.
i wear full sleeves and nothing except my ankles ( sometimes) or feet show.
I'm leaning towards wearing more and more long skirts and maxi dresses now these days.
At home I'll wear almost anything, knee-length or short skirts, sleeveless, cropped, little shorts.. whatever but my mum gets a bit iffy about tops with little shoestring straps so if she's around I'll not wear those :D In front of aunties I do sometimes wear sleeveless in the summer but I don't show my legs which is basically what most of the girls we know do, if someone v.conservative is coming over obviously I'll dress in a way that doesn't offend them, looser clothing but being honest showing arms (as in tiny cap-sleeves, not totally sleeveless) is ok with pretty much everyone we know whilst showing full legs isn't.. My mum's half-Bengali so even tho she wears hijab I think it might be a cultural thing that they're more liberal about showing certain skin, when u've been brought up around women wearing sarees showing arms and a bit of tummy obviously isn't frowned upon as much..
