It's not like you need to ask his permission to sit next to him. Sit on his lap and then see what he says

Or may be she has gained so much weight after marriage that sofa cannot bear weight of both.

sitting close to your spouse....!

Do either of the two

  1. Sit across the room and talk really loud about personal stuff. He'll ask you to move closer

  2. Sit on top of him. He'll tell you get off and sit on his side.

sitting close to your spouse....!

He had limited access to you then... Now maybe the charm factor wore off....this is why too much lovey dovey before marriage means less afterwards....it's hard for a lot of folks to accept that things change after marriage.

Re: sitting close to your spouse....!

actually, to this day. my wife and I dont sit close to each other in front of others, especially elderly family members. I am kind of with Nadz's hubby on this one.

Re: sitting close to your spouse....!

OMG, that is so lame and pathetic, to not be able to even sit with each other :S. It was never like that in our family. People need to clean their heads is all i can say. It is not even close to being 'chichoray' or whatever :S I mean, what on earth. I have never even heard of this before and this is like really weird to me.

Re: sitting close to your spouse....!

Pakistani men need to get over their weirdness about sitting close to their wives in front of family members.

In front of immediate family such as my mom or his parents, sisters etc. I will sit very close to him, even put my head on his shoulder and he usually doesn't mind, although he never initiates sitting like this himself.

In front of other relatives like aunties, uncles, cousins etc. I will usually let him be. HAHA.

Honestly a married couple is a married couple. GET OVER IT!
