Not sure about saddar but in my area they do!
I think this act of offering cold drink customers (especially ladies) is more common in Lahore and rural areas than Karachi. I don't think that Malls like Parke Towers serve customers in this way. May be people from upper class don't like this hospitality and frankness.

Sometime, they tease by reducing price below the expectation......anger......?
some customers also increase blood pressure of shop keepers by quoting unreasonable lowest prices.. Then come 'aap ko lena hai to lo, mazaq mat karo'

They do offer only when you purchase expensive item... Electronic market at Regal...... offer cold drink......if TV or electronic appliance is purchased......

I also heard of this Bohni and normally Rikshaw wals says ‘aap pehle customer hain.. subh subh aap se rates ki kia behas karen’

Aur ye bhi jumla suna hoga khaas kar jab bakra eid k maouqe pe gae ya bakra lene jao tu deal hone k baad kehte hain 'kuch mithai k tu de dein' aur bhi mouqon pe sun hain maine.

yahan tak tu bakra eid pe 3 dinon k lye naan wala bhi roti pe paise badha deta hai, poocho kyon ’ eid haina sahab’, tu maine ek dafa kaha ‘apni eidi k chakkar mein humari tu eid kharab nahin karo yaar’.
