Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

muqawwee123,

Nice responses to the some of the most idiotic and racists posts. Good convincing skills. No one can beat you here. Sindhi is language of love and respect, Sindhi is language of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitaai. :k:

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

^ seriosly? do you think people got convinced? there is something called compromise my friend, for happiness of ourfellow country men

appko to achi tarha pata hoga, aapkay peer to mofahemat ki siyasat kiya kartay hain

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

I just said what I felt right , people did show their concerns and I didn’t mind that all. because they got their views and opinions, for which they get right to be discussed in a civilsed manner. May be some posters felt that I was being emotional or imposing on certain places. I’m sorry if I passed some statements which have hurt some posters. By no chance, I wanted to prove my superiority over the expense of others and their language.

All the languages of Pakistan are equal for me. As your referred to Shah Latif, his philosophy was love and peace for all. He traveled to distant areas like Rajisthan and Gujrat and wrote poetry for characters of that area incorporating many words of those areas to make the language rich. We Sindhis who revere personality of Shah Latif as a saint don’t hate any language, because its not in our roots.

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

Well post 204 brought some of that “pakistaniyat” back.. :rotfl:

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

Gujrat and Rajasthan, distant lands? :)

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

distant from Bhit Shah (near Hyderabad). Sur Sorath of Shah Jo Risalo is about a king of JunagaRh and distance from Hyderabad, Sindh to JunagaRh is not less 1000 km and that distance can be considered distant even today.

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

Just few things to add:

Pakistan ki kisi community ne kisi per ihsan nahi kiya. Na Sindhiyon ne Non-Sindhis per aur na hi Non-Sindhis ne Sindhiyon per. There is no such thing like compromising for others. If that had been the scene, Pakistan would have been much much better place.

The point that has been raised by some respected members that issuance of id card in Sindhi is influenced by nationalists due to ethnic hatred and like grounds is also flawed historically as the members who got Pakistan resolution passed from Sindh assembly (first assembly in subcontinent) got their id cards in Sindhi during British era.

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

Nothing wrong with ID cards in Sindhi language. With such a diverse country, more devolution of decision making powers is needed at provincial and district levels.

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

For the sake of argument, how come Sindhi( language of love and respect) could not make you love and respect others? You are a sindhi after all!!

P.s. I totally agree that all languages are of love and respect.

Re: Sindhi Language on Identity Card

Got you, otherwise Sindh borders both states of India.
