Re: Sindh Through Centuries!
No historical basis for this claim. There are many myths attached with these claims but how can we prove through facts? Ahmed Hassan Dani, a renowned historian from Pakistan believes that the religion of Indus Valley was not Hinduism. What ever they believed might have evolved into Hinduism later. Have a look at this thread which I opened earlier. http://www.paklinks.com/gs/indo-pak-history/610455-history-of-pakistan.html according to historians Hinduism as we know it today was introduced in the region by aryans, as they divided people into various social classes. As far as I am concerned, I think the real people of the area are those whom we classify as the lowest of them all (untouchables).
Caste system came in to existence much later. There are no indications to prove that Indus valley people followed a caste system. The popular belief is that Aryans brought in the caste system.
