What??? Shiva is a Post Veda deity???

Then how come Mahamrityunjaya Mantra in Rigveda appear,praising Lord Shiva?

Ohm.Trayambakam Yajamahe

Sugandhim Pushti-Vardhanam

Urvarukamiva Bandhanan

Mrityor Mukshiya Mamritat.

This Mantra is more than enough to mention about Lord..

Again in Rigveda,there are references to Rudra …(Lord Shiva)

And Rgiveda is the first Veda…Again Atharva Veda and Yajur Veda there are references..

Has Rigvida remained unchanged since inception? I think many scriptures were transferred by word of mouth and written at later stages.
