lets get into a bit more detail here. I have one further question do most people prefer elastic in there shorts or NARA(pull tight strings). Lets go even further what do u people prefer when wearing shlawar elastic or NARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, and what is the reason behind your preference!!!!!!
most of my shalvaars are elastic, i hate naaras, they get all knotty and stuff..eew

but in silk.....
there is one more unique option, that can be silk,cotton any other meterial, it is known as DHOTi and some prefer to call it LUNGI, what opion do you people hold about that???????

In shalwars I prefer naras but in shorts donon are okay. Cant see specific reason behind preferring this way! I know girls prefer elastic and I understand why :)
