The road from Wagha to the temple was built specificly for the Sikhs.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
We should also be feeling shame for what our Sikh ‘borthers’ did with Muslim at the time of separation. They sent whole train full of dead Muslims from Amritsar to Lahore. They left only the train engineer alive so he could bring dead Muslims to their new land.
I don’t want to sound too negative, but I just want you guys to keep this in mind what they did to us, so that we don’t go completely blind in love for our Sikh brothers. They should be welcomed here to carryout their religious services. But please let’s not forget our history while we will be kissing their butts on their arrival.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
In my heart I think your a friggin idiot… No offence:rolleyes:
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
Evil was done on both sides.. Its something we all have to love with. Better to burry the ghosts of the past and try to look to the future.
One has to admit that our shared history predates the partition by far and we should also keep that in mind.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
As if it was only one side. Do you not remember that virtually entire Sikh communities from Rawalpindi to further West were wiped out by Muslim League hordes. I know an extended Sikh family from Jhelum Dist. where only 2 children out of 50 plus members survived by hiding below the bodies of killed relatives. Partition was a horror when it could have been handled in a civilized manner.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
it has nothing to do with “punjabi brotherhood”. Call it a relationship of convenience if you may because most expatriate sikhs are no longer pro-india or even anti-india cause of events like operation bluestar.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
A few hundred crackpot Sardars don't mean much. The overwhelming majority of Sikh community in India is 100% patriotic and 200% prosperous.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!

Do these figures include the sikhs of the villages in Ferozpur?
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
Great news. We should donate the land surrounding Nankana sahib and more. This is essential to bring Pakistan out of Maulanas.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
secularism. that's the way forward.
Re: Sikhs Planning seminary in Pakistan!
It is about time Pakistan realised that the Sikhs should have their rights granted to visit their holy sites. Also don't forget that the Sikh community is probably the smallest and most financially successful in the whole subcontinent. They will bring a lot of prosperity to Pakistan if allowed to flourish. Forget the days of partition as all communities suffered, but on the whole the Sikhs are very peaceful, and just get on with their lives. I live in the UK and I see it here. They are a forward thinking community, we asians came to the west in only in the 50's and 60's, but the Sikhs came to the west in the 1890's (to Canada).
