Sindhi is not written in Nasta’liq. It is written in Naskh. Naskh style was/is used mostly by Arabic.
Nasta’liq was developed by Persians by combining two styles: Naskh and Taaliq. Hence the name “Nastaliq”.
Since Urdu depends heavily on Persian therefore Urdu also adopted this style of writing. Turkish also once used the same script, along with Punjabi, Kashmiri and Uyghur.
In Nastaliq, letters move from top to bottom; while in Naskh, letters remain on the same line.
