The issue shouldn't be "support Arabs or not". We already know how "Arabs" think, "Arab League" is a reflection of just that. Does Iran speak Arabic? or does Hezbollah speak Arabic?

Pakistan has supported pro-West Arabs for a long time now. A couple of examples area:
- 1970s: Pakistani army helped Jordan by crushing the Palestinian uprising.
- 1970s-to-1990s: Pakistani army protected Suadi Arabia from the home grown Saudi-anarchists.
Pakistan's positive role came to an end in Gulf War-1 when Pakistan's leadership mis-calculated and decided not to support allies.
As a result Pakistan suffered in two ways:
1. Pakistani army was kicked out of Saudi Arabia and
2. we suffered international sanctions due to nukie program.
p.s. Some reports of Pakistani pilots helping Arabs during 1973 war are rumoured. However they are not supported by wide-ranging trends of Pakistani army.

My sympathies have always been with Pakistani-Shias. They have suffered for too long at the hands of Saudi inspired terrorists.
OTOH I don't care much about trouble makers Iranian Mullahs and their Hizbiz lackeys.
