India will never be a threat to Iran ,at the same time both have been enjoying a very good friendship with each other.The present international scenarios have only helped to strengthen this warm relationship ,despite India's vote agaist Iran.Iran knows that India is a very strong trategic partner and can be a trustworthy ally all the time.
India's defence ties with Iran is unreckonable and this has been there for a very long time.There were American speculations/findings that TATA had been giving assitance to Iran's nuke facilities and it is very open that India is aiding Iran militarily in an awesome fashion.
Even a couple of days back ,Tthe U.S was virtually furious with India over the presence Iranian battleships near Cochin and this was highlighted in Syamsaran's meeting with his U.S couterpart.
India's relations with Iran are more stronger now than ever before,even more than it was there during Sha's rule in Iran.Sha's Iran had given safe place for Pakistani fighter planes from the attack of India during the 1971 war but India has nullified this chance effectively in the current times by signing accord with Iran that will allow Indian planes to use Iranian bases.
Any aggression agaist Iran will be strongly oppossed by India and she will use all its diplomatic tools to safegurd Iran.

You are thoroughly mistaken. We have our great presence in these countries including Afghanistan.Srilanka is calling for Indian mediation in talks and Srilanakan public and medias were crying for Indian helps in the later stages of the Srilankan conflict,once again for an Indian intervention.
My dear friend,it was our great presence in Bangladesh that helped our Intelligence agencies to carry out suicide attack on Paresh,though he escaped.
well,we can tolerate this Bengladesh but we certainly could not tolerate a mini Pakistan on our East side,that's why we it in to two pieces. :)

PAKISTAN WILL NEVER DO THAT. IT DIDN'T HAVE GUTS OR POLITICAL WILL TO EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. AND EVEN IF THEY DREAMT, IT WILL BE LIKE ANOTHER KARGIL MISADVENTURE. IN FACT, IT WILL BE BETTER FOR INDIA SINCE SHE CAN GO AHEAD AND RETURN THE ATTACK AND POK CAN BE LIBERATED. THAT WILL BE THE GOLDEN CHANCE FOR HER TO SOLVE THE KASHMIR ISSUE ONCE AND FOR ALL. HAVE PAKISTAN FORGOT THAT HUMILATION OF 1965 WHEN INDIAN ARMY SEIZED LAHORE???
FORGET ABOUT BANGLADESH AND CHINA JOINING PAKISTAN AND THAT TOO AGAINST INDIA.

YES THAT'S TRUE. THESE BAGLADESHIS ARE EHSAN FARAMOSH. BUT PAKISTAN IS NO LESS. REMEMBER AFTER PARTITION PAKISTAN WAS GIVEN GRANT FROM INDIA TO FEED THEIR PEOPLE.

Right and that is why India voted in favour of sanctions against iran in the IAEA meeting earlier this year? If they were so aloof they should have abstained. But no. They voted in favour of the UN Security Council to take actions against Iran.

mo, its called diplomacy.. jiska danda uski bhais....why do u think there is U-turn in american south asia policy in favour of india. pakistan is begging the US favour, trying to please them all this years. they offered their soil for US forces, helped US to fight war in afghanistan and betrays the afghani people in american favour. but still US goes india's way. why?? Think....then u will understand meaning of diplomacy.
iran is too insgnificant for INDIA to hurt US and pakistan is too insgnificant for USA to hurt INDIA.

The hue and cry is that US changed world order on Nuclear Treaties, just to be on right side of India. India refused to sign NPT....
Don't pass the frustrations as facts.......... :-).

grumpy, u always rush to the conclusion without thinking. india had voted against iran because iran is engnaged in uranium enrichment which can lead to the development of nuclear weopan. obviously, intentions of iran is not peaceful use of nuclear energy. secondly, iran has accepted and signs NPT and she is openly violating it. one has a reason to fear that Tehran is trying to buy time while continuing its nuclear program -- clandestinely if necessary. . But some experts believe that as early as next year, Iran will have acquired enough knowhow to make weapons. That could spark a regional arms race, perhaps involving Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or Syria
(though sounds great )
