like i said before..shaving your head has nothing to do with the thickness of your hair. you get your hair type from genetics..

oh and as to why it was so short...i had no choice...ammi ganjed my hair until like...ohh...i was 7 or so.

long, i wanted to see how long they could go before i got tired of them. and i got them cut because not much i could do with it, and also the goott pulled my hair so i was getting a bald spot embarrassed

it’s like my brother has thick hair like my mum…and me and my sister have fine hair like my dad..
it always trickles down from somwhere..
maybe it was your great-great grandmother..?

hi y'all..

just wanted to know how short you guys - actually i should say girls, have cut your hair..? what's the shortest you've ever gone? and if you have long hair would you ever think about cutting your hair...? actually i don't understand those girls that have really really long hair, and won't cut it, or try a different style. yeah, i know how long it takes to grow out your hair that long...but don't you get tired of the same look?

so let's hear some replies ...i wonder if any of you has ever gone bald..? ohh..that'd be something ;)

my shortest hair ever??? at birth, lol!
i love my long hair dancing in the wind...moving when i walk and run...long hair is so sexy and feminine...no wonder why we hide it behind dupatta:D

and no i won't cut my hair...cause I (and my man;) ) would be heartbroken

Shortest was as a child (bob)...now, i've had long hair (mid-back) for years now...it doesn't take me long to grow hair, so i don't mind getting it cut, i just prefer it long as i think it suits me better...and it's with short hair that i got tired with the same look, cos there's only so much u can do with it...with longer hair, there's so many hairstyles and ways to do ur hair...oh and i do think there is truth to the thing about shaving ur baby's head so the hair will grow back thicker...cos think about it, ur baby (first hair) is always gona be lighter/thinner than when u shave...just like anywhere on ur body, after shaving, the new hair is heavier/thicker.

The shortest I ever had was cropped, like a little boy when I was 18. I went through periods of letting it grow to chin length then cropping it again until 22. My parents hated it but my mom started to like it. The funny thing is that whenever I went to a hairstylist (with medium hair) and told them to cut whatever they thought would suit me best, they always said crop it. As a college student it was really low maintenance and stylish. I always had highlights and texturizing so it was flattering not boyish.

I have short hair right now; it's a little above my shoulders. I've given up trying to grow it because it just curls up anyway, so I guess I will always have short hair.

Actually I recently cut my hair above my shoulders as well. It's a medium shag with layers. I think it suits me much more than long hair.

My mom decided to shave my head bald when I was like 3 or 4 years old.

My parents made me bald for 4 timees atleast. I wish they would have done it even more.

The more you will cut the hair the better they will come. Its best if you do it when your child is young.

yea i meant braid. i was getting a bald spot in the frnt because i usually had the braid, and i have lots of hair, and heavy hair, so the long-ness, heaviness and the rest combined to just pull my hair at the frnt where i had my so called part (i neevr tried to have one...) i know it does not make sense...but go with it :)
