Re: shops in rawalpindi and islamabad

but readymade casual and party wear is really ugly in islamabad/pindi. i didn't really like shaposh but i'm picky.

Do you know the Price Range? What kind of material they have? Jamawar, Chiffon??????

Re: shops in rawalpindi and islamabad

Where are you all Islamabadis/Rawalpindis?????????????????

^ i think they use all kinds of fabric. i've heard it's good, too. i don't know about the price range, though.

Does anyone know about Libaas in Jinnah Market?
I am in the States, and it's impossible for me to go to Pakistan. I'm sending pics of ideas for dresses to my fiance in Islamabad, and he'll probably get them made at Libas.
However, I have never been to that shop. And he doesn't have any female relatives he can take to the shop...so I don't know how this will work out :-P
Do they bargain at these types of shops?

^ yes, i've been to libaas before. never ordered anything from there, though. your fiance could take the pics to aisha bridal as well and compare the prices. you HAVE to bargain with them.

how did your fiance hear about them?

Re: shops in rawalpindi and islamabad

the bestones i think are;

Fashion ka ghar ( now also in jinnah super)
Mohsin sons (muree road rawalpindi ) and the shops around it
Libaas in jinnah super
Sobia Nazir
emmm what else you guys wanna know??

If my fiance doesn't know how to do one thing, it's bargain :-P but oh well, we will see :-) The prices for some of the bridals we showed them were a bit pricey for those particular designs, but overall it wasn't too bad.

A cousin of mine got married last year, she recommended this shop although she did not have her dresses made from there personally.

Hey stylobabe, what's the difference between fashion ka ghar and libaas? In terms of designs, quality of work, prices? Which one is more dependable?
thanks!

Does anyone know any nice shops in pindi/isb for artificial jewellery and gold sets?

anyone???

there are other threads on this...they should come up when you do a search. anyway, there are many shops in jinnah super & some in super market selling gold jewelry. patiala jewelers are really good (but expensive) in blue area and sarafa bazaar. i guess you'd be able to find artificial jewelry from moti bazaar...i'm not sure about that, though.

anyone with personal experience at Aisha Bridal in Jinnah Super Market? and/or if you guys can post some lehnga photos from them.
Thanks!
