Asif the team looks good on paper but I'm not sure how possible it is to have yusuf and younis back. I am not sure how constructive it is for the team building environment to have them back either.

I would love for Farhat to be dropped, but for the first time in his life he batted with responsibility in this Test. It'd be unfair to drop him now. Both Azhar Ali and Umar Amin have shown glimpses of talent, so both of them should be considered long-term prospects. They shouldn't be dropped., but will have to make way for either Yousaf or Younis if either of the two Ys is recalled. Hameed could come in for Malik.

I would play Imran Farhat for at least 2 test matches against ENG. If Butt continues to be stable at the top, Farhat can give that spark in the start.
asif your team is good but I think with victory against Australia the two Y's are going to be history, in the short term anyway. I would like Pakistan to persevere with the three youngsters, azhar, and the two Umar's
One of the two Y's is a must if we are looking to compete against England who are a better test team than Australia right now
We MUST keep the same team minus Shoaib Malik. If anyone of the dramay-baaz Y comes back the team chemistry will be destroyed. Let the young players learn, we already see talent in them. If Imran Farhat can come of age and provide a solid foundation under pressure then why not let young players groom. Let this series be a learner for them.
Yasir Hameed can come in place of Shoaib Malik.

Im not Farhat's fan but he at least fought it out...he probably deserves to keep his spot more than Malik who is utterly useless.

Dont read too much into this victory. This victory is NOT the result of the batting department but is because of our blowing department producing the EXTREMA PERFORMANCE and it would not be fair to expect this from them every time they go out to play.
I'll still draft in Y2s in place of Malik and may be Imran Farhat (or umer amin). We need at least one of the senior batsmen to be around these kids just like Inzi mentored Y2s.
I am not sure why we are insisting of no including Y2s because we dont want politics in the team when biggest politician (Shoaib Malik) is in the team already.

I say keep the youngsters in the team, would rather see them make a name for themselves. Besides, the two Y's were playing in the last series against England and we still got whooped. Time to move on and let some new players emerge. Azhar Ali in particular looked good.

i dont think the Ys will play well under Butt. Drop Malik and bring in either Yasir Hameed or Fawad Alam or any other relatively older batsman (even if hes played 3 or 4 tests).
Yousuf and Younus are damaged goods now as far as Im concerned. come with too much baggage. although it would be kinda nice to have one of them in the team.

Hate them, but the Ys are needed for another 2 years. Don't make either of them even a V.C. Just play them in test with young team, as SENIOR SPECIALIST BATSMEN. Nothing more and nothing less.
Malik should be kicked out from Test team forever. We have others who can make 20 odd runs and bowl too.

GA and others - I think his team is fine except why not Give Hameed a chance in place of Farhat…I mean Farhat is not like the best thing since ketchup or anything…he can be rested for a match or so…after all Shane’s let-off was what did not send him back at 4 intead of 60 odd..
Yasir Hameed is better technically then farhat and then it adds a LH/RH combo to the openers making it more challenging for the bowling side.
And I agree that chance of YK or MoYo coming back are pretty slim…I mean look at Ijaz Butt’s comment…the guy lack intelligence and even diplomacy…“Afridi told me to give youngsters a chance…and he was right…” so what about yourself u silly pop…how come you did not have ur own foresight to pick and encourage young talent…sheesh…

Farhat scored when it mattered; I hate the guy's casual attitude when it comes to batting or fielding, but he did deliver when it mattered. Malik is a useless chooha who needs to be dropped ASAP.

Today Malik batted better than other top 5.
The first one to be dropped should be Umar Akmal.

It pretty much some Malik’s attitude. Holding mentioned that Malik has been dropped and recalled 13 times by the PCB during his career for the national team.

Both Akmals need to go including Malik, persist with others for atleast 2 seasons (couple of series).
